A new project

Hello my new blog!

Well, I'm tentatively giving it a go... mainly because I am about to start some creative projects I'd like to share! I'm very much following in my sister's footsteps here, both with regard to the blog and the creativity. Once I get my digital camera back from a friend (who's borrowed it to take pictures of a manuscript in the Bodleian Library), I will be able to put some pictures up of said projects.

Since I am currently sans camera, I cannot show you the lovely *pink* fabrics I've just bought for my first ever quilting endeavour. Nor the delicious marinated red pepper I've just made for tonight's barbecue, probably the last of the season. My boyfriend and I are awaiting a delivery of some furniture this morning, among which a wooden chest of drawers which I am going to paint and decorate in lovely Swedish colours. Pictures to follow!
